School keeps me busy, and then a lot of times after school I'm over babysitting my baby nephew, who's barely 5 months and so adorable 
anywho, I'm also in a few clubs and I go to the YMCA by my sister's apartment to exercise since I'm fat o3o so I haven't had much time to do anything, really. I'm sorry for all of you who I neglect D: I can't get deviantART on my sister's laptop or on my iPod Touch >.<

Hand to hand Combat:
Swords.
-Samurai Swords: Designed specifically to cut through human flesh and bone, in the hands of an expert swordsman the Katana was fully capable of cutting a man diagonally in half with one clean blow.
-Foils and Rapiers: Foils and Rapiers were long, slender bladed types of swords designed to empathize the thrust and were one of a very few civilian swords ever devised. Surprisingly heavy, a true rapier was much longer and slower than the types of swords used in modern fencing. There are also several types of swords related to the rapier, such as the epee or the 'smallsword'.
-Two Handed Swords, Claymores and Flamberges:
-Longswords and Bastard Swords: Two handed swords or Great swords are a specialized weapon. With scalloped, serrated edges these swords were believed to slow an opponents blade slightly as it passed along its length and deliver a more deadly wound. A straight, double edged sword that is between 4 to 6 feet long, with an average weight of 3 to 4lbs.
-Scimitars, Falchions and Sabers: About 3 to 4' long, these swords all have a curved, single edged blade and were a popular cavalry weapon and military blade – with the scimitar, an Arabic sword, having a more noticeable curve
-Short Swords: Short Swords usually have a total length of around 2' and historically were designed to be used with a shield in one hand

-The Cinquedea: The cinqueda is a long dagger that was developed in Northern Italy and enjoyed a period of popularity during the Renaissance. Cinqueda means "five fingers," which refers to the width of the blade adjacent to the guard. The cinqueda was mostly used as a thrusting weapon and was carried horizontally next to the buttocks so that it could be drawn laterally from the back.
-Scottish Dirks: A Scottish dirk is a longish dagger worn as part of full Highland dress for formal occasions. The blades of Scottish dirks measure 12 inches and are lavishly decorated with silver mounts, pommels and cairngornstones. Unlike most daggers, Scottish dirks are single-edged and often have decorative art work on the unsharpened edge of the blade.
-The Bagh Nakh: The bagh Nakh is a very intimidating dagger to face off against in man-to-man combat. This South Asian weapon fits over the knuckle and can also be concealed under the palm. It has between four or five curved bars attached to a crossbar or glove and is designed to rip through skin and muscle.
-The Kalis: The Kalis is good for cutting and thrusting and has a wavy portion that is said to be meant to facilitate easier slashing in battle, because it doesn't get stuck in an opponent's bones and is easier to pull out of bodies.
-Trench Knife: Trench knives were primarily used in World War I by the British Army, the U.S. and other allied forces. The knives were often used during trench-raiding expeditions and close combat. The German version of the trench knife was often referred to as a boot knife, because it had sheaths with clips that could be affixed to boots or clothing.
